Agent Migration: Framework for Analysis
نویسندگان
چکیده
A lot of work is devoted to analysing architectures for coordinating the behaviour of individual agents. However, providing agents with abilities to migrate continues to be a highly challenging problem. We propose a novel multi-agent framework, called Agent-based Migration (AM). We begin by defining the principal objective, which is the migration phenomenon applied, in our case, to distributed calculation of prime numbers. We present the AM architecture in detail. Then, we introduce different types of migration and the communication scheme. We also conduct a set of experiments in two environments: 4 heterogeneous computers and 45 (almost) homogeneous computers. Specifically, we are looking for a way to find optimal configurations for migration in both environments. The conclusion from this work is that introducing propagation to a system in a form of agent migration in both networks could considerably decrease the execution time according to used algorithms and established assumptions.

Adaptive Protocols for Agent Migration
A framework for building adaptive network protocols for agent migration over a network is presented. A key idea of the framework is to introduce mobile agents as first-class objects. That is, the framework allows network protocols for agent migration to be naturally implemented within mobile agents and then dynamically deployed at network nodes by migrating the agents that carry the protocols. ...
متن کاملDynamic Configuration of Agent Migration Protocols for the Internet
This paper presents a framework for building network protocols for migrating mobile agents over the Internet. The framework allows network protocols for agent migration to be naturally implemented within mobile agents and then dynamically deployed at network hosts by migrating the agents that perform the protocols. It is built on a hierarchical mobile agent system, called MobileSpaces, and seve...
متن کاملUser Agent Migration Policies in Multimedia Wireless Networks
Multimedia wireless networks often employ network based user agents as proxies for mobile users. In this paper, we consider a fundamental question in the design of these networks: should the user agents migrate and if so, what are good user agent migration policies? We first introduce a general framework for malysing user agent migration policies. We then highlight, through analysis and simulat...
متن کاملبررسی تاثیر کیفیت حکمرانی بر مهاجرت دانش آموختگان
This article examines the impact of governance quality on the migration of highly educated persons. Using human capital and social transition theories of migration, two hypotheses are proposed. The cross-sectional data (for 1990 and 2000) have been used to test the hypotheses via the framework of a random utility model. Principal Component Analysis (PCA) is used to build a composite index of go...
متن کاملForced Migration and Global Responsibility for Health; Comment on “Defining and Acting on Global Health: The Case of Japan and the Refugee Crisis”
Forced migration has become a world-wide phenomenon in the past century, affecting increasing numbers of countries and people. It entails important challenges from a global health perspective. Leppold et al have critically discussed the Japanese interpretation of global responsibility for health in the context of forced migration. This commentary complements their analysis by outlining three pr...
